Making a difference in the lives of students in our communities.

Encouraging, Supporting & Mentoring students from high school to college.

The Brojora Foundation is a charitable 501(c)(3) with a mission of making a difference in the lives of students in our communities who aspire to attend a Historically Black College University (HBCU). We aim to bridge the gap in educational opportunities and support the next generation of leaders and scholars. By investing in them, we aim to empower these students to become future leaders who can contribute meaningfully to their communities and beyond. The scholarships and mentorship we provide help alleviate financial burdens and serve as a powerful affirmation of their potential and abilities.  As an organization, we are proud to operate with a 100% volunteer workforce, ensuring we can maximize every dollar donated to support our students.

Philadelphia, PA

The Brown Family has been proud to partner with KIPP Charter Philadelphia for several years. It's been a wonderful experience to provide over a dozen students attending HBCUs with scholarships for college essentials, Wi-FI, iPads, and computers. Especially during the COVID pandemic, ensuring students have the tools and resources to continue their education and succeed. The Brojora Foundation is grateful to be able to continue to support these students and help them achieve their dreams.

Sussex and Kent County, Delaware

In 2023, our organization proudly expanded its support to students in Sussex and Kent County, Delaware. Through our partnership with Milford High School and Pathways to Success, we offer scholarships to students who aspire to attend the esteemed local universities of Delaware State and the University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES).

The Brojora Foundation provides scholarships to Coatesville Area High School students who plan to attend Lincoln University.

Furthermore, the Brojora Foundation, KIPP, and Lincoln University collaborate to provide an annual special dinner for KIPP alums at Lincoln University, where they receive professional mentoring, guidance, and a care package. The event also includes a guest speaker who shares their knowledge and experience to motivate and inspire the students. These initiatives aim to support and encourage students in achieving and excelling in their education.

Chester County, PA

“Through the love and support of our friends, we have been able to support dozens of students with scholarships, mentoring and encouragement.”
